When life gives you lessons

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.

So what if life gives you lessons instead? What do you make?

Memories and experiences, most probably.

I said in the previous blog post that I want to document every event that is worth documenting and while I wrote this post, I remembered how the lessons I have learned right after graduating have made me grow and well, somehow humbled me in a better way.

A few months into the being a Software Developer made me feel anxious of what the future has for me. To be honest, I chose this path because I want to be someone who understands what Software Developers go through. The deadlines we have to meet, the tasks that bring upon many questions, and the learning cycle that seems to be endless - all of which are very vital when you try to manage a team whose brilliant minds go over through detailed framework documentation and StackOverflow answers. I could be in QA or BA and still be able to experience these however, I grew up studying how applications were developed and most of the time, I would end up getting involved in the development process too. So here I am, being a Software Developer. I hope the future me uses the lessons she has learned not to only make memories and experiences but also to become a better version of herself and hopefully (I really, really hope for this!) learn the ropes of being a Project Manager. Being one is like being able to make lemonade. From my experiences of being a developer to being able to communicate between clients and a team of developers - I think that'd be awesome!

For now, I want to focus on my first few years of being a developer and improve my logic, critical thinking, and of course, communication.
